About Us
Cambridge Cats Basketball Club celebrates 17 years as a local basketball club and over the years we have enjoyed considerable success in developing and establishing the club and it's junior program. The club has a sound local presence and has gained sports England’s kite mark Club Mark as well as England Basketball’s 3 Star accreditation. At the heart of Cambridge Cats is a vision and passion that drives a commitment to motivate and deliver a quality program based around family values.

The Club takes children from beginners, and develops their individual and team skills. We have established links with five of our local secondary schools and much of our success has been in the Cadet and Junior age groups, where we are recognised as a highly competitive outfit in the National League Conference basketball.
For the 11/12 season, the club has National League Conference representation at under 16 and under 18 age groups.
The senior men’s team practices and plays its home games at the St Bede’s School. The team is made up of well established experienced players and players breaking through. For the current 10/11 season, the 'Big Cats' will be competing in; the Hertfordshire Premier League, the Cambridgeshire Local League.
The Club now also has a growing Ladies squad, who train at St Bedes School on a Tuesday evening. For the 10/11 season it is planned that the Ladies will be competing in the Hertforshire central venue league.
The club currently has the privilege to be represented by a handful of young players who've trained and developed with Cambridge Cats over many years and are now at Universities and colleges in the UK and USA furthering their education and Basketball careers.
Our vision is to provide high quality coaching and competitive opportunities for players of all ages to help them progress and fulfil their potential both on and off the court.
